Dandelion flowers are a delicacy in a rabbits diet.
You can pull the entire plant, roots and all, from the ground and give it to your rabbit. The root system is also very beneficial for their digestion.
Plantain
Ribwort and broadleaf plantain are full of good fibre that will wear down your bunny’s teeth. The rough texture is a favourite.
Plantain is great for gut motility and can be given to your bunny every day.
Herbs
Herbs are potent little bombs of vitamins and minerals. Darker green herbs rich in antioxidants and other nutrients and are better for your bunny. Only give your bunny herbs twice/three times a week, and only one or two stalks of each one. Go with the motto: less is more, when it comes to herbs.
