Wednesday 31st May was a 19°C day, with some wind. But it was good enough to put the bunnies outside. I created two separate pens, and put Butty in the one with the Omlet enclosure because he likes hiding under the platforms.

I knew Nova would be very nervous about going outside. She dug her head into my elbow for safety, as I bent down. As she got braver, her little front paw reached out to touch the grass. She then realised it was grass and didn’t want a cuddle any more, she bounced out of my arms and sat quietly for a while sniffing the salt in the air (because I live close to the beach).

I had put the pens close together so the bunnies could see each other. Nova was happy to explore the pen.

And so it starts again. Third time lucky.
