Nova must have been kept in a small cage. Her back was so tight and cramped when I got her. In the start, she only sat in a tight loaf, because she couldn’t sit any other way. When she wanted to lay flat out she couldn’t for long. Her back muscles hurt.
Each time I cuddled her, I massaged her back in hopes to loosen it up.
I’ve had her for just over a month and she is now splooting! Not perfectly, but it’s close enough to a sploot!
We celebrate each of her splooty achievements. One day soon she will do a proper sploot. That’s when I know her back is no longer tight and sore.

We finally got a perfect sploot from her. It has only happened once though, but we had to celebrate it. Love the toe-beans.

After splooting for about 10 minutes, she stretched out and looked like this.
It is now officially called a Splat rather than a sploot. She was fast asleep for about 5 minutes. It must be nice to stretch your back after such a long time.
