I decided to mix the order of the bunnies up every time I tidy their pens. I do that to help with bonding, because all of the bunnies will know each other quite well before I pop them in the same pen.

It takes about 2 hours for me to clean the lounge room properly once the rabbits are outside. I have to sweep up the “lumps” which are usually dropped food, hay and poops. I then move the fences carefully as to not make the hair float around. I then vacuum the carpets and move them aside. I vacuum the EVA tiles, back and front and put them aside. I then sweep, vacuum and mop the hardwood floor.

Once that’s done, I wash the litter boxes, food bowls and anything else.

I then put it all back together.

While the bunnies were outside, I put Nova and Coffee together as a mini-test. Nova wouldn’t leave Coffee alone, and tried to get him interested in her. He didn’t want a bar of it. This behaviour from Nova clearly shows that she is not desexed properly or at all.

I’ll get Nova sorted out before I put her with another rabbit. Her behaviour is purely hormonal, with her tail up and flared, and her fancy bouncing, sniffing and chasing.

Coffee is really cute. He always pushes his nose through the bars. I always joke that it’s because the air is better on the other side of the fence.

Buttons loves cuddles, he is such a cuddly teddybear.

Coffee loves cuddles too. He asks for cuddles.

After another week, I swapped the rabbits around again. They were happy to be changed around again.
