It was a lovely day on the 3rd September and the bunnies went outside before 9am. They spent the morning running the invisible a racetrack, and adding a few high-kick binkies along the way. They then sat on their chairs and groomed themselves. Then it happened…
Nova dug a hole. She was entertaining herself for about 15 minutes, and when I came back, I was impressed… not happy… but impressed.
The hole was about 30cm deep, and about 20cm wide. She was busy digging when I found her and she dug a stack of dirt out, then moved backwards and patted it down on the grass, then moved forward again and dug some more.
The hole was overlapping (or underlapping, not sure if that’s a word) the fence. If I had found her later, she may have escaped.
It’s annoying having to fill in holes (Maple used to dig them all the time). I’m going to have to find something instead, maybe a dig box… I’ll have to look into that…
