A while ago I saw people clipping their rabbits to maintain their angora rabbit’s hair. Of course my brain started ticking over and I thought about Buttons’ coat. At the moment, he is shaggy and dropping hair in clumps.
I saw an ad for dog grooming clippers that came with a vacuum component, but it was too expensive to get. I found these clippers. I read the reviews about them to double check whether they were too cheap and would break, but the reviews said that they were quite good. So I snapped them up.
Now to groom Buttons. I put him on the table, and brushed his clumps. The ground looked like it was covered in snow. Then we grabbed the clippers…
We tried the 13mm longer attachment, but that didn’t do anything. We scaled it down until we found that the 7mm was a good length. We clipped his bum and around his back legs. He was such a good boy, he didn’t even struggle. I think he was thankful to have less hair.
It worked really well. However, for summer I will trim him even more, where he will have shorter hair for the hot weather. I think he will appreciate that a lot.
Buttons’ hair is so thick it’s stupid.
The clippers are really good, if you are looking for something simple and effective.
I read that it is important to oil the clippers after an hour of use.
And not to leave it on the charger for longer than 12 hours.
I would recommend these clippers.
