Buttons’ behaviour towards Nova started to change at around the 2 month mark. Before that, he would chase her and not want her around. Then on the morning of 21st July, he liked her. It was as though he forgot the past and she had been around forever.
To be precise it was 53 days (Monday, 29th May – Friday, 21 July), when his behaviour was obviously different towards her. He let her lay, eat and exist near him. He did chase her around a little, but that was for fun. She thought it was fun, too. She would dart past him and duck into a tunnel, and of course her nails are scratchy and make a loud noise as she raced through to the other side. Previously, he forced her away and didn’t want anything to do with her.
Does this mean that he accepts Nova? Or is it because she has been around long enough that he has forgotten the past? Or has he decided to move on?
I think it’s all of them. She has been around long enough for him to learn to accept her but that could only happen if he forgot the past, he could forget the past if he decided to move on.
A New Bag of Selective Science Pellets
Buttons loves the Selective Science Adult pellets, so once I went through the smaller bag, I purchased a larger one (4kg). I was disappointed to find that there were dog biscuits and pressed corn in there. That says to me that there is no quality control, and they don’t clean the machine after each food run, or they sweep the pellets up off the floor. If that’s the case, this company doesn’t deserve my money. It’s a shame because Buttons loves the pellets.
Companies should look into getting accredited with Feed Safe.
Even though this is the case, I will still feed these pellets to him because they are helping his tummy.
