Buttons has changed into a new rabbit. This new lifestyle has made him a happier, cuddlier, loveable, friendly bunny.

He missed his sister Cotton so much that he was so far down into depression that nothing I did would make him happy. He was sad and dejected. He chose to not like anything or anyone.

Then meeting these two little live-wires has perked him up tremendously. When he moved in with them, it took about 3 days for him to settle in and realise that he had a new family. He also had to come to terms with new rules and a brand new lifestyle.

He now does binkies and he zooms around on his short legs. He also is losing some of his loose skin around his front legs and neck because of all of the exercise he is having. He actually has longer front legs than I’ve ever seen when he stretches out in bunny-yoga poses.

He also is very protective. He thumps to warn all of us that there is some sort of danger that he is sensing. If we don’t listen he thumps louder. It’s not until we look at what he is looking at, (his large black ears are a dead give away about the direction he is looking in) and check it out, that he calms down. Buttons is definitely a guard bunny.

Buttons is 11 months old!

The 16th of April was cold and rainy, the bunnies stayed inside.
