Lunar is funny. Each morning he leaves a spread of poops everywhere. I have read online that people call them nuggets. I don’t, I’ve resorted calling them bum crumbs. They are just like little crumbs left over from a meal – which they are if you think about it.

He is litter trained, but when he jumps out of the litter box, poops are stuck to his feet and he kicks them off in mid-air. They spread like spherical confetti everywhere.

Because Lunar and Maple are small, I can’t use a high-sided litter box yet. They are stuck using a shallow kitty-litter tray. With that being the case, I have a special dust pan and brush that I use all the time to sweep up bum crumbs.
