Without fail, Nova always ran under the dripping carpets that were hanging over the fence drying. Today was no exception. As soon as the carpets were placed over the fence, a bounding black bunny bounced up to the cascade of water droplets and without a care in the world sniffed along the available edges.

Unbeknownst to her, each pass of her body near the carpets caused a stream of wet hair. She was quite fashionable with her sleek new hair-do along her right side.

Her nose twitched and her vibrissa pondered the vibrant mix of aromas on the carpets: disinfectant; wool mix; old stale rabbit smell; pellets and lettuce wafted past bringing back last night’s dinner memories. She couldn’t contain herself much longer and she had to rub her body all over the carpets, soaking up the aromas.

After a time, Nova hopped over to Buttons to relay her delight of the smells of the carpets. Her wet body dripping with memories.

Buttons decided to have a look for himself, leaving Nova alone. That was when she started to make considerations about her outward appearance. She realised she was quite damp and this could mean she may get cold in the chilly breeze that was swirling around.

Luckily, being so close to the ground meant she was mostly sheltered from the zephyrs; however, she still needed to clean herself up, make herself look presentable.

She spent the next five minutes drying herself off. She then moved into the sun, laid down and fell asleep. In her mind, her busy day was nearly complete, and it was only 11am in the morning.
