Maple started thumping in the mornings when she thought it was time for the humans to get up. Buttons has now taken it up and if we aren’t up by 8am, he thumps, just once, but loud enough to get us up.

Because it’s winter, the mornings are darker longer and we don’t get up as early, and Buttons has decided we sleep too much.
